Martodam Motors (1983) LTD. is a Case IH Dealership located in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan. We employ over 20 people and offer sales, parts and service of farm machinery as well as cars and trucks. Martodam Motors has been supplying area residents with new and used equipment since 1983, to help them with their chosen field.
History
Martodam Motors opened April 1st, 1983 and was managed by William Volk, with partners Lloyd Fisher and Clarence Bilous. Partners came and went through the years until 1998 when Lloyd Fisher, Michael Cote and Patrick Booth assumed control and remained until 2010. At that time, Tyler Fisher and his family returned home from Calgary to take over. While Cote and Booth’s expertise are still front and centre in the parts department, Lloyd is now retired, although you will often find him around the shop helping out and having a coffee.
In 1983 we supplied the Spiritwood area with Ford, Mercury, New Holland, Versatile and Ford tractors as well as shortline equipment. Shortly after Ford tractors were dropped, Case IH tractors and equipment were brought in and subsequently Case IH, Steiger and New Holland became one as CNH. Through 2014, Ford and the quality vehicles they provide was a stabilizing force in the area. To date Martodam Motors continues to keep the area farmers up to date with all the latest trends in agricultural technology from seeding to harvest and everywhere in between.
